With its off road capabilities and drop handlebars it would be easy to categorise the Diverge as a cyclo-cross bike, but Specialized is keen to stress that thatâs where the similarity ends. The groupset works well together as a whole but I've always felt that these shiftfer/brake levers don't perform as well as the mechanical Shimano shifters or its latest hydraulic options.
